I’m off to Santa Fe in a couple of hours; I received the above invitation to attend a particular function tonight. And what function might that be?
That’s right - A Rational Animal has scored two free tickets to the Boots ‘N Bolos Inaugural Ball! (For non-New Mexicans, otherwise known as the inaugural ball for Governor Bill Richardson and Lt. Governor Diane Denish.)
Of course, this necessitated a few small purchases by the demon-goddess:
New boots (because, of course, a demon-goddess can’t be expected to wear her old boots) . . .
. . . and a new bolo (which was a Christmas gift, allowing the demon-goddess to feel virtuous for not having spent $$ on it).
Posting is thus likely to be suspended until tomorrow - unless, of course, I get snowed in in Santa Fe (which would be such a shame . . .).
