Thanks, Steve. Very few bloggers' endorsements of political candidates mean jack to me, but your does. The BF and I have been talking about this for two weeks now; he's leaning toward voting for Edwards on Tuesday, too, for the same reasons.

I get really fed up with this notion that Edwards needed to "do the honorable thing" and quit. Um, what's "honorable" about betraying your supporters and constituents? That's what Kerry did the day after the '04 "election," in refusing to challenge Ohio (which we now know was as stolen as Florida in '00) - and that wasn't Kerry's right to give away. When the nation is in such dire straits, and the frontrunners are morally anemic and policy-challenged, the truly honorable thing to do is to stay and fight. And as long as Edwards stays in "suspend" mode and keeps control of his delegates, I'll credit him with staying and fighting. (Between you and me, I have a feeling that the real reason he suspended now might be that Elizabeth has gotten some bad news on the health front - and if so, I can't blame him for making this decision.)

Superb. I look forward to the other two.

I've endorsed Edwards for the moment... I have a personal rule that I must participate, and he is the least offensive candidate (or most progressive, if one can say that) left in the field. Will he remain on the ballot by the Texas Democratic Primary on March 4? Who knows. I had a debate in a comment thread this morning with someone who thinks Edwards should do the honorable thing and fall on his sword for Hillary and Barack's sake. Sigh!
